Despite the declared by the
Ukrainian side observance of the cease-fire regime, for the past day, the enemy
committed one occasion of the
ceasefire violations. As I reported earlier, last night a military clash took
place with the enemy's sabotage group in the vicinity of Sokolniki locality. None of the servicemen of the LPR People's
Militia suffered.
**
During the investigation conducted
by the security forces of the Lugansk People's Republic, one saboteur was
wounded. A route along which a subversive and reconnaissance group managed to
cross the contact line and withdraw to the territory controlled by Ukraine has
been established. Investigative actions on the site of the night clash
continue. I note that the Ukrainian media interpret this fight as supposedly
staged. These statements were published almost immediately after my briefing at
10 a.m. By such actions, Ukraine further confirms its involvement in this
incident.
**
I want to draw the attention of the
Republic's residents and the media that recently the activity of the Ukrainian
forces' subversive and reconnaissance groups has intensified on the Republic's
territory. In this regard, I ask the citizens of the Republic to remain
vigilant and to report all suspicious persons and objects to the appropriate
security services.
**
I want to note that in connection
with the low morale and psychological state of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, as I
have repeatedly stated, the observers of the OSCE SMM have been jeopardized.
So, on April 23, at the AFU checkpoint in Stary Aidar, two armed servicemen of the AFU stopped the Mission
patrol and, demanded to get out of the car and provide documents certifying
citizenship in an aggressive manner. Observers of the Mission recorded that
both servicemen were in a state of intoxication.

In turn, the LPR People's Militia units continuously
carry combat duty, conduct combat trainings to maintain high combat readiness. Preparations
are also continuing for the Victory Day Parade on May 9.
We do not react to provocations by the Ukrainian Armed
Forces and strictly observe the "silence" regime introduced from
April 1.
