Over
the past day, the enemy committed seven violations of the ceasefire.
Our
units' positions near the localities of Smeloye, Logvinovo, Sanzharovka.
Kalinovo and Kalinovka were shelled. When attacking, the AFU applied mortars of
120mm and 82mm calibre, anti-aircraft mounts ZU-23-2, IFV cannons, recoilless
antitank guns, and small arms. In total, 178 projectiles and shells were launched
onto the Republic's territory.
The
AFU do not cease reconnaissance along the entire contact line with application
of unmanned aerial vehicles, which is prohibited by the Minsk Agreements. Thus,
in the vicinity of Schastie village, in the responsibility zone of the 14th AFU
brigade, a drone was detected when conducting reconnaissance along the contact
line. We can conclude that the AFU command plans to carry out a criminal
provocative shelling with the use of both artillery and mortars in this direction.
The
level of the moral and psychological state keeps decreasing in the ranks of the
armed forces of Ukraine. This was confirmed by another fact of desertion from
the AFU units' ranks.
Thus,
it became known that the command of the 24th separate mechanized AFU brigade
was conducting an investigation into the fact of unauthorized leaving of the
brigade's base by a servicemen who left, having taken with him a regular small
arms – AK-74 assault rifle and ammunition. So far, the soldier's location has not
been established.
Along
with that, according to our reconnaissance, on May 25, the 14th separate
mechanized brigade deployed in the vicinity of Schastie locality expects the
arrival of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry's chief inspection which is to check
the accounting of personnel and assess the morale and psychological state of
servicemen in connection with the increased cases of desertion and traumas.
The
LPR People's Militia does not relax vigilance and gives priority to security
issues.
